Step 3: The Wax Try In: Your First Look!
This is an exciting step! The dental lab sets the chosen artificial teeth into a wax base, mimicking the final shape of your denture. You’ll get to try on this wax try in.
Evaluate Aesthetics
This is your chance to see how the teeth look in your mouth. We’ll check the color, shape and alignment to ensure you love your new smile.
Check Fit and Function
Dr. Christina Brinda and her dental lab staff will assess the fit against your gums and how you speak and bite. Any necessary adjustments to the fit, bite or appearance can be made at this stage. Your feedback is incredibly important here, as this is the closest preview you will get of your finished dentures.
Step 4: Final Processing and Finishing
Once you and Dr. Brinda are completely satisfied with the wax try in, the partial denture goes back to the dental lab for final processing.
Heat-Cured Acrylic
Meanwhile the wax base is replaced with durable, gum-colored acrylic resin, which is then heat cured to create a strong, long lasting denture base.
Polishing
The finished denture is carefully polished to ensure a smooth and comfortable surface.
Step 5: Delivery and Adjustments
Your final, beautifully crafted dentures are now ready! During your final appointment at Christina Brinda DDS and her staff will perform the last steps.
Initial Placement

Final Adjustments

I personally was shadowing Dr. Brinda's office for my Dental Hygienist Program, and it was an amazing experience! Dr.Brinda and her wonderful team are constantly working to make sure things are sterilized, wiped down, and organized for your visit! There was nobody sitting around, but everyone was helping other people out! Staff at Dr. Brinda's office was respectful, sweet and supportive! Dr. Brinda personally took time with patients, and treated them like a person, not just a patient. She asked recurring patients about an update on their personal lives from the patients last visit, and it was amazing to see the patients smile when she remembered.
